What:

Dancing in the Olympic Opening Ceremony

Why:

I applied on a whim, and then surprisingly made it through all the auditions.

With a 5 hour dance rehearsal every weekend from mid-April, it was a big commitment. The local East London dance crews were amazing (so patient) as was meeting Danny Boyle and the guy who does the tap dancing feet for Happy Feet.

The picture on the right is a screen shot from the final televised ceremony - my 4 seconds of fame were so worthwhile!
